Here is a wonderful miniature grand piano 1800s “salesman sample”, a type of portable, fold-up piano that could be carried into someones house easily to demonstrate the instrument. The piano has folding legs and a thick brass handle, and is built with an actual iron harp with tuners, felt hammers and ivory keys. Restored in 1995, the piano is still in great shape, though it does need to be tuned professionally. What a great find! Enjoy!
