Western Electric RA-1217 “Army Man” Compressor System Of A Down SOAD WE RARE!!!!!

This is a legendary compressor with provenance! It is a Western Electric RA-1217, a muscular broadcast compressor mounted together with an input selector on top of its rack-mount chassis. This is a totally RARE beast. It is excellent as an effect compressor, and makes guitars jump right out of the speakers! The compressor is called the “Army Man” because of a small plastic toy army man that Serj Tankian from System Of A Down put inside the case. The little army man is still in the compressor since System Of A Down sessions in 1997.
