MCI Type A VU Meter 49-8172 Tape Machine Part

This VU meter looks to be from a MCI tape machine or console circa late 70s or 80s, maybe early 90s. The meter does not have a plastic front cover, but has the plastic back housing. It is in good shape but has not been tested. The back housing is slightly cracked (see photos).
